Although Microsoft previously listed its old Paint app as a deprecated feature on Windows 10, meaning it was no longer in development and could be removed in future releases, the company is now planning to keep the app for the foreseeable future.
On a response Tweet, Microsoft senior program manager, Brandon LeBlanc said “Yes, MSPaint will be included in 1903. It’ll remain included in Windows 10 for now.” Furthermore, the company even removed the warning that Paint would be removed on Windows 10 version 1903, May 2019 Update.
The original plan was to replace the legacy Paint app with the new Paint 3D app as it includes most of the same features, but now it’s not clear the future of both apps. However, one thing is certain, the good old MS Paint is here to stay for a little longer.
