  • Windows 10 22H2 is getting build 19045.6575 (KB5068781) as the first update through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
  • This update only fixes a couple of problems for users enrolled and for those enrolling in the ESU program.
  • There are no new major features in this release, as the operating system support has ended on November 14, 2025.

Windows 10 builds 19045.6575 and 19044.6575 (KB5068781) are now rolling out as part of the first November 2025 security update through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for versions 22H2 and 21H2. This is a small update addressing the ESU enrollment error message in the Settings app.

According to the change logs, the update KB5068781 is only available for devices enrolled in the Extended Security Updates program, and fixes the “Your version of Windows has reached the end of support” messages in the “Windows Update” settings.

In addition, since this update is cumulative, it also ships with another fix for an issue that prevented users from completing the ESU program enrollment process. It’s important to note that Microsoft has also released an out-of-band (OOB) update (KB5071959) to address this issue. However, now, you only need to install the official November 2025 Security Update to receive all the fixes.

Microsoft does not reveal the final names of updates intended for the Stable Channel during early development. While in preview, these are labeled as non-security updates. The official name, such as the November 2025 Security Update, is assigned only after the update is released on Patch Tuesday.

Older versions of Windows 10

Furthermore, Microsoft is releasing updates available for older operating system versions, including 1809 and 1607. For example, the company is rolling out update KB5068791 for version 1809, bumping the build number to 17763.8027 and including fixes.

Finally, Windows 10 1607 receives the update KB5068864, which bumps the version to build 14393.8594, and addresses some undisclosed problems with the operating system.

Windows 10 end of support

Support for Windows 10 ended on November 14, 2025, meaning the company is no longer providing security updates, bug fixes, features, or technical support. To continue receiving critical security updates (only), you must enroll your computer in the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.

Also, remember that this lack of updates will leave your system vulnerable to security threats and may decrease its performance.

Furthermore, since the software giant no longer provides updates, you should upgrade to Windows 11 or another operating system, such as Linux Mint, or plan to purchase a new device.

According to the company, all versions of Windows 10 have already reached the end of support, including:

  • Version 1507 (RTM)
  • Windows 10 2015 LTSB
  • Version 1511
  • Version 1607
  • Version 1703
  • Version 1709
  • Version 1803
  • Version 1809
  • Version 1903
  • Version 1909
  • Version 2004
  • Version 20H2
  • Version 21H1
  • Version 22H2

If you want to continue using Windows 10, Microsoft now offers Extended Security Updates (ESU). This service was originally reserved for organizations needing to run older operating systems beyond the official support period, but it is now also offered to regular consumers.
