In the Experimental experience for Feature Platforms, the company is rolling out only general improvements, and the Internet Protocol Print driver (prnms012) now includes updated hardware IDs (HWIDs) in preparation for upcoming changes to printer driver ranking behavior.
Microsoft is improving Voice Typing on the touch keyboard with a more streamlined and less intrusive design. The previous full-screen overlay is being removed and replaced with lightweight animations that appear directly on the dictation key.
Finally, the company has released additional reliability fixes in the latest Canary build for Windows 11. These updates improve Japanese IME behavior when Administrator Protection is enabled, helping ensure a smoother input experience in secured environments.
The update also addresses an issue that affected the persistence of sign-in states for certain apps after recent Canary flights, improving overall stability and reducing unexpected logouts.
