Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 11 build 26200.5622 (KB5058512) in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program. Although this isn’t a major release, it packs several new features and improvements regarding AI, privacy, visual changes, and more.
According to the official changes, the update KB5058512 integrates an AI agent into the Settings app, updates Recall to allow European users to export snapshots, and improves Click to Do with a new “Ask Microsoft 365 Copilot.”
Aside from the AI changes, this flight brings back the full clock with seconds to the Notification Center and updates the sharing experience using OneDrive to include a new interface for copying the link and sharing the cloud file with other apps.
This update also improves Voice Access, the Settings app, and File Explorer and rolls out a bunch of fixes.
Windows 11 build 26200.5651 (KB5060818) changes
These are the biggest improvements rolling out to Windows 11 on the Dev Channel.
AI agent update for Settings
Microsoft continues its work with the AI agent in the Settings app to be more accurate in determining and surfacing the correct steps to address the issue when describing the problem in the search box.
This update is available for Copilot+ PCs using the Snapdragon processor with support for AMD and Intel coming in the future.
Other Settings changes
In this release, Microsoft is adding a few improvements for the Settings app. For example, the search box in Settings has been relocated to the top center for both traditional computers and Copilot+ PCs.

Also, the activation and expiration dialogs now align with the modern visuals of Windows 11. In addition, these dialogs now appear as notification toasts, prompting you to take action if necessary.
Microsoft is also improving the messaging within Settings > System > Activation and resolving a language issue in the Settings navigation pane.
Windows Recall export feature
Starting with build 26200.5622, the software giant is developing an export feature for the European Economic Area (EEA), which will allow you to share your Windows Recall snapshots with third-party apps and websites.

As a result of this change, when you set up Windows Recall for the first time, the system will provide a unique Recall export code to export the snapshots in the feature. You can think of this as an encryption key, and since it’s a unique and private code, Microsoft does not store or recover lost export codes.
If you lose the Windows Recall export code, the only way to generate another one is by resetting the feature completely, which deletes all the snapshots and resets all the settings.

You can manage Recall exports through Settings > Privacy & Security > Recall & Snapshots > Advanced Settings, choosing from:
- Export past snapshots: One-time export of snapshots from the last 7 days, 30 days, or all saved snapshots.
- Export snapshots from now on: Continuous export of snapshots from the moment the setting is enabled.
If you want to share the access, you’ll have to provide your Recall export code and the exported snapshots folder path to third-party apps or websites.
Organizations can manage the Windows Recall exports using the AllowRecallExport policy or a Group Policy setting. By default, exporting is disabled on managed devices, and only individual users can initiate the process.
Other Recall changes
As part of this release, Windows 11 is pushing several additional enhancements for Windows Recall on Copilot+ PCs, including a new reset feature, updated snapshot storage settings, and teaching tips to improve usability.
You can now reset the feature and all its data on Settings > Privacy & Security > Recall & Snapshots, and click the “Reset Recall” button to delete all stored snapshots and reset settings with a single click.

In addition, the default storage duration for snapshots has changed from unlimited to 90 days. However, you can always set a different storage allocation for Windows Recall.
Finally, this flight adds in-app teaching tips to help you understand the features and navigate the experience more easily.
Click to Do new actions
Windows 11 build 26200.5622 also updates the Click to Do feature with two new actions. If you have a Microsoft 365 license, you’ll notice a new “Ask Microsoft 365 Copilot” in the context menu when selecting text or images, and this action allows you to send the selected content directly to the chatbot.

In the Microsoft Team integration, Click to Do is adding two new actions:
- Send a message with Teams: Quickly reach out to colleagues with a direct message.
- Schedule a meeting with Teams: Effortlessly find a suitable time and set up a meeting.
These options appear when selecting an organization email address on screen, after installing the latest Microsoft Teams version 25153.1002.3699.5695 or higher release.

Clock with seconds in Notification Center
Microsoft brings back the bigger clock with seconds in the Notification Center. This update gives you a more detailed time display, making quick glances at the clock even more convenient.

To display the full clock with seconds in Notification Center, open Settings > Time & language > Date & time, and turn on the “Show time in the Notification Center” toggle switch.

You can enable the feature manually with the ViveTool running the vivetool /enable /id:42651849,48433719
command.
File Explorer visual changes
After installing update KB5058512, you’ll have access to a new version of File Explorer. This version updates the context menu with dividers for the top-level icons to make it easier to identify each action.

In addition, the development team is improving File Explorer by fixing tab focus issues when opening folders, resolving a memory leak for better performance, and enhancing archive extraction speed, especially for large 7z or .rar files.
Finally, when right-clicking a OneDrive file to share, you’ll notice a “Share using” menu after clicking the “Copy link“ button, allowing you to share the link more easily with other apps.

Other fixes and changes
In addition to the new features and improvements, Windows 11 build 26200.5622 also ships various other fixes. For example, in the Start menu, the company fixed the Start menu display issue for Arabic and Hebrew language users and restored functionality for “Move to front,” “Move right,” and “Move left” options in the pinned apps context menu.
In addition, this flight resolves font rendering issues that caused corrupted or overlapping text in app menus and incorrect character display when typing in Hebrew or Thai in Microsoft Word. Furthermore, a fix has been implemented to improve script execution speed on remote SMB shares running older Windows Server versions.
Furthermore, the software giant is reintroducing Chinese language support for Voice Access and adding Japanese support.
Microsoft is also noticing known issues with the Start menu, Xbox Controllers, Recall, Click to Do, File Explorer, and Widgets.
