A new preview for Windows 10 Redstone 5 releases with minor improvements — Here's what you need to know.

Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 17730 for devices enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is twenty second preview that releases as part of the Redstone 5 development, and it’s a minor update that only delivers several bug fixes, as the company is currently working in finalizing the update for its September or October rollout.

Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17730, according to the software maker addresses only a few problems impacting Windows Defender Application Guard, Remote Desktop, and Hyper-V. In addition, this flight fixes a bug using the volume slider in certain apps, and addresses a minor issue displaying the update history for drivers.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 17730, the update is available immediately through the Fast ring for PCs. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.
