You can now download the wallpaper Microsoft designed as the default background for its new Surface Laptop Ultra, which features the new NVIDIA RTX Spark processor.

Microsoft recently turned heads with the announcement of the Surface Laptop Ultra, its upcoming flagship powerhouse packed with NVIDIA’s brand-new ARM-based RTX Spark processor. While we’re still waiting for the hardware to officially hit the shelves later this year, you don’t have to wait to get your hands on its premium aesthetic.

Someone has already published the stock background, giving you a chance to refresh your Windows 11 desktop with a look at Microsoft’s next-generation hardware.

While every premium Surface device usually drops with a signature artwork style, the Surface Laptop Ultra takes a distinctly sophisticated route. The default background is a dark, abstract, marbled swirl of grey and black.

This deep, moody design isn’t just about looks. It’s practically engineered to showcase the laptop’s high-end 15-inch mini-LED display. Using local dimming that cuts off the backlight to achieve true OLED-like black levels and a massive peak brightness of 2000 nits, this wallpaper is designed to look stunningly contrast-rich.
