Windows 10 build 19041.208 releases to testers as final version 2004

Windows 10 May 2020 Update hits RTM, and it's now available to testers.

Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 19041.208 as cumulative update KB4558244 for devices enrolled in the Release Preview ring of the Windows Insider Program.

This is the preview number 58 releasing to testers, and according to the company, it’s the final build that will eventually ship as the Windows 10 May 2020 Update in the coming days.

KB4558244 is a small update that addresses issue that fails to send NPLogonNotify API notifications from the credential provider framework. In addition, Microsoft reveals that is aware of some difficulty when navigating and reading certain web content on the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge for Narrator and NVDA users.

Originally, build 19041 was made available to Insiders last December, and since then, Microsoft has been releasing cumulative update to make sure the new feature update is as stable as it can possible be before making the May 2020 Update available to everyone.

The update is available immediately through the Slow ring. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.
