Windows 10 Feature Experience Pack outs for version 21H1 and 20H2

Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0 rolls out for Windows 10 as update KB5004393.
The update is available for testing on Windows 10 21H1 and 20H2.
Update KB5004393 only fixes a problem with the touch keyboard experience on Windows 10.

Microsoft has made available a new Windows Feature Experience Pack (120.2212.3920.0) for devices running Windows 10 21H1 enrolled in the Beta Channel or Windows 10 20H2 enrolled in the Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This is a small package that only includes a few improvements.

According to the software giant, the Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0 (KB5004393) only fixes an issue that would cause the touch keyboard to not display when invoked.

On Windows 10, the Windows Feature Experience Pack is a new update process that allows Microsoft to deliver feature improvements to consumers outside of the operating system’s major releases. The package will download and install automatically through Windows Update, similar to installing a new build or cumulative update. However, this particular release won’t be offered for commercial devices in the Release Preview Channel, including those computers AAD-joined and/or running the Windows 10 Enterprise edition.

Although using this new mechanism, a lot of features can receive updates, at this time, only some features are being developed independently. Microsoft continues testing the process with testers, but eventually, the new mechanism will be integrated into the existing servicing process for Windows 10.

If you want to receive the pack, you need to be enrolled in the Beta or Release Preview Channels using the Windows Insider Program settings. Then on Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, click the Check for Updates button to install the latest pack. Once the update is installed, you’ll need to restart the device, and then you can check the Windows Feature Experience Pack version on Settings > System > About.
